Rescue Training Inc. is announcing an EMT-Tactical® course in Lockport, New York, hosted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office. This course is designed for the SWAT medic and other medical providers who support public safety operations and need focused training in tactical medical care, operational awareness, and casualty management in high-risk environments.

About the EMT-Tactical® Course
EMT-Tactical® is designed for public safety medical personnel who support tactical, law enforcement, military, federal, state, or local public safety operations. The course focuses on the medical knowledge, decision-making, and operational awareness needed to provide care in the tactical environment.
Students attending the Lockport, New York course will learn advanced concepts in casualty care, tactical medical support, treatment priorities, and medical response considerations for high-risk incidents.
This Monday–Friday course combines classroom instruction with daily field training and hands-on skill exercises. Students will participate in a night exercise, drownproofing exercise, CS exposure lab, and a final field training exercise (FTX). The course concludes on Friday with the final FTX and written examination.
Prerequisite: Medical training to at least the EMT level and affiliation with, or service to, a public safety agency.

Self-pay students will submit a non-refundable $50 registration fee through the registration form, which will be credited toward the total EMT-Tactical® course tuition. VA, agency-pay, and contract-billing registrations will be reviewed by RTI for approval and follow-up.
